Appreciative Inquiry
Appreciative Inquiry is an intervention that investigates what gives life to the systems, its strengths that make the system develop their maximum potential.
When we inquiry we create space for the system to transform. On change processes people usually focus on problems and work exclusively to solve them. With Appreciative Inquiry, we start looking at the strengths of the system, aiming to conserve them and avoid their loss as a consequence of a reactive action towards a problem.
Using this process, most of what we would consider problems cease to exist and, when we face the real and deeper problems, it is a key first step towards resolution to know the strengths and tools we already have in our hands.
We use Appreciative Inquiry to re-design complex systems where the method of traditional problem-solving is not sufficient and the conversations within the system need to evolve to a created colective future.
Real case:
We used Appreciative Inquiry to re-desing the strategy of a logistics company where 600 people where involved between employees, clients and suppliers.
